Emily Hunsberger translates literature written in Spanish by women authors from all across the Americas, including the United States. Her translations have appeared in Latin American Literature Today, The Southern Review, PRISM international, and The Common, and are forthcoming in Southwest Review. She is currently translating a collection of essays by Melanie Márquez Adams to be published by Mouthfeel Press. From 2017 to 2022, she produced Tertulia, an independent podcast about Spanish in the United States. She has a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Cornell University, a master's degree in Spanish from George Mason University, and a professional background in immigrant rights, education, the arts, and international civil society. She lives with her family in Philadelphia.
