Andrea Alfaro Álvarez

Andrea Alfaro Álvarez is a graduate teaching assistant and Spanish M.A. candidate at the University of Oklahoma. Born in Venezuela, she received a B.A. in Modern Languages and a minor in Translation from the Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a translator for N&S Marine Surveys. After graduating, she continued her work as a translator before deciding to continue her studies at OU. She is interested in fantastic literature, language education, and multimodal discourse studies.
