Vanesa Almada Noguerón

Vanesa Almada Noguerón was born in Buenos Aires in 1980. She is a poet, editor, and writer. She completed her studies in Literature and Cultural Management. She has been recognized with the Premio Poesía de las Américas (2008) and by the Latin American Intercultural Alliance (2013), among other awards. She lives in the city of Mar del Plata and is a regular contributor to Latin American Literature Today. She has been featured in various poetic anthologies and poetry festivals, both in Argentina and internationally. In 2025, she took part in the I Encuentro Nacional de Poetas (San Juan, Argentina) and the XXV Festival Internacional de Poesía de Cali (Colombia). She is the author of the poetry books Entre los ruidos (Baldíos en la Lengua, 2015), Quemar el fuego (Autogestivo, 2017), Los demás (Liberoamérica, 2019), Límbica (El Taller Blanco Ediciones, 2020), Lo que no vuelve (Halley, 2023), and Quemar el fuego: doble o nada (El Andamio, 2024). She edits the blog Chorrera de Palabras and directs the epistolary writing project “Espero tu carta.”
