Rafael Romero

Rafael Romero (Guatemala, 1978) holds a degree in Literature from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. His works have appeared in magazines and anthologies across Latin America and Spain. His published works include Distensión del ansia (Alambique, 2011), Orgánica palabra (Sin Tecomates, 2014), Nadie advirtió el rencor de las precipitaciones (Círculo Cultural, 2015), Génesis y encierro (Cultura, 2011), Entelequias (E/x, 2015), Epifanía doméstica de la nostalgia pura (Tregolam, 2019), and the trilogy of novels El elegido, Chichicaste, and Zánganos (Alas de Barrilete, 2012-2014). He currently resides in Madrid, where he works as a writer, editor, and proofreader.
