María José Navia (Chile, 1982) is a Chilean writer and scholar. She has a MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU and a PhD in Literature and Cultural Studies from Georgetown University. She currently works as a professor at the Facultad de Letras in the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has published two novels (SANT y Kintsugi), four short-story collections (Instrucciones para ser feliz, Lugar, Una música futura y Todo lo que aprendimos de las películas) and a novel for children (El mapa secreto de las cosas).
