Matthew Carman

Matthew Carman is a junior at the University of Oklahoma, hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana. He is majoring in Spanish and Biology with a minor in Portuguese. Matthew has been interested in the natural world from the time he was three or years old, and found a passion for foreign languages, especially Spanish, in the sixth grade. At the University of Oklahoma, Matthew is involved in multiple ecological research projects and in Latin American Literature Today as a student translator, in addition to being a Resident Advisor and a passionate member of the Union Programming Board. Eventually he plans to become a professor.
