George Henson is the author of eleven book-length translations, including Cervantes Prize laureate Elena Poniatowska’s The Heart of the Artichoke and fellow Cervantes winner Sergio Pitol’s Trilogy of Memory and Carnival Triptych. His most recent publication is the memoir A Long Day in Venice by Argentine author Abel Posse. His translations have appeared, among other venues, in Latin American Literature Today, World Literature Today, The New England Review, Words Without Borders, Granta, and The Guardian. He currently teaches creative writing at the University of Tulsa.
