Nancy Jean Ross

Nancy Jean Ross graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2023 with a master’s in Hispanic studies. Her master’s thesis is entitled: “Negotiating the Feminine: Travel, Writing and Identity in Rosario Castellanos’s Nonfiction from Spain, the United States and Israel.” She has an MFA from New York University in creative writing in Spanish. Her writing has been published in The Paterson Literary Review, And Then, Bridges: A Jewish Feminist Journal, Latin American Literature Today, Asymptote, and The Georgia Review. She translated Myrna Nieves’s retelling of the fairy tale Otra versión de Hansel y Gretel (And Then Press).
