Sylvia Miranda

Born in Lima and based in Madrid, Sylvia Miranda is a poet and writer. She earned her doctorate in Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has published several poetry collections, a novel, and short stories, as well as articles on Peruvian literature. In 2021, the Universidad Ricardo Palma published her doctoral thesis on Lima and the historical Peruvian avant-garde. Along with Nicole Bajon, she completed the translation into French of Carmen Ollé’s Après tout la nuit… / Después de todo, la noche… (2016). He latest article is titled “Carmen Ollé: Memorias. Un esfuerzo creativo que no ha cesado” and was published in Revista Ómnibus, No. 77 in 2025.
