Lucas Margarit

Lucas Margarit is a poet and senior lecturer in English Literature at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He holds a PhD in Literature; his thesis focused on the poetry of Samuel Beckett. He has contributed to several publications and has delivered seminars and lectures both in Argentina and abroad. His most recent poetry collections are Telesio: A Very Brief Treatise on Atonishment (Leteo, 2021), Vestiges of What Can Be Seen (Insaciables, 2022), Between Earth and Rust (Anthology) (RIL, 2024), and Monteverdi (Variations on Decay) (Chile, Descontexto, 2025). His latest book of essays is The Silent Monologue: On the Work of Samuel Beckett.
