Franco Vaccarini

Franco Vaccarini (Lincoln, 1963) is an Argentine writer based in the city of Buenos Aires since 1983. He has published more than eighty titles for a children’s and youth audience, dealing with multiple genres. His work Twelve Fishermen was highlighted as one of the three best published books in children's literature in 2016, a distinction awarded by the Argentine Chamber of Publications. He won the El Barco de Vapor award from Ediciones SM with his novel La noche del meteorito in 2006. His works circulate in countries such as Chile, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Canada, and the United States.
