Eduardo Chirinos

Eduardo Chirinos (Lima, Peru, 1960 - Missoula, Montana, 2016) is known as a poet, essayist, translator, and children’s author. His poetry books include Breve historia de la música (Premio Casa de América de Poesía, 2001), No tengo ruiseñores en el dedo (2006), Mientras el lobo está (XII Premio de Poesía Generación del 27, 2010), Medicinas para quebrantamientos del halcón (2014), Naturaleza muerta con moscas (2016), and Tetramorfos (2018). His academic publications include La morada del silencio (1998) and Abrir en prosa (2010), as well as many essays.
