Mafalda Arcardini Rosado is an audiovisual and literary translator who graduated from the Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas “Juan Ramón Fernández” in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For her graduation project, she translated a piece of nonfiction and a short story by Harriet Beecher Stowe (1811-1896), the author of Uncle Tom's Cabin. She also has experience in subtitling and teaching English as a second language. Her career in translation began at a young age with a popular Supernatural fanfiction, and she has been translating ever since—though now the demons are mostly syntactic.
