Mario Ortiz

Mario P. Ortiz was born in Bahía Blanca (Argentina) in 1965. He is a professor of literature and teaches at the university and secondary levels. He also conducts research in the areas of literary criticism and regional history. All of his books of poetry are titled Cuadernos de lengua y literature [Language and literature notebooks]. Twelve volumes have been published with various presses in Argentina, Uruguay, and Spain. The most recent volume, subtitled Tratado de iconogénesis [Treatise on iconogenesis], was published in April 2021.
