Graça Graúna is an indigenous woman of the Potiguara people. She is a writer and Adjunct Professor at the Universidad de Pernambuco (UPE) in the Literature department, and is also affiliated with the bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences program at UPE. She is a member of the Council of Indigenous Education in Schools, in Pernambuco [CEEIN/PE]. Her work has been featured in poetry anthologies in Brazil and abroad.
