Gabriel Payares (England, 1982) is a Venezuelan writer. He has published three short-story collections:
Cuando bajaron las aguas (2008),
Hotel (2012), and
Lo irreparable (2016). He has won several national literary awards in Venezuela. He has been living in Buenos Aires since 2014.
