Morgan L. Ventura

Morgan L. Ventura is a writer and translator of poetry and fiction. Their work appears in Poetry Ireland Review, Banshee, Southword, Lackington’s, Geist, and Al Jazeera, among other publications. Shortlisted for the Listowel Writers’ Week Poetry Collection Award, they hold degrees from the University of Chicago and the Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen’s University Belfast. The recipient of bursaries from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Fulbright, and Poetry Ireland, Ventura is the author of the pamphlet some minor, sometimes divine, existential crises (Ghost City Press, 2024) and translator of the forthcoming Because of the Silence (Skein Press, 2027). They live between Mexico and Ireland.
