Max Granger

Max Granger is a writer and translator whose work has appeared in The Guardian, The Baffler, High Country News, Guernica, The Columbia Journal, and elsewhere. He is a regular translator for El Faro English—a project of acclaimed Central American investigative journalism outlet El Faro—and his translation of Óscar Martínez’s “Nueva York es una casita con cenizas de migrante” (El Faro, 2021) was selected as an Editors’ Pick at Longreads. Max is a humanitarian aid worker with the migrant solidarity project No More Deaths and a coauthor of Disappeared: How U.S. Border Enforcement Agencies are Fueling a Missing Persons Crisis.
