Lisa Carter

Lisa Carter is an editor, book coach, and Spanish into English literary translator. Her translations have won the Gulf Coast Prize in Literary Translation and been longlisted for the Dublin Literary Award, among others. She has published nine books in translation by contemporary authors such as Edmundo Paz Soldán, Pablo de Santis, Matilde Asensi, and José Rodrigues Dos Santos. Her work has appeared in anthologies and literary magazines including A Public Space, Tin House, and Gulf Coast.
