Katie Brown

katiebrown
Katie Brown is a Senior Lecturer in Latin American Studies at the University of Exeter, specializing in migration, publishing and translation. Her particular focus is contemporary Venezuela. She is the author of Writing and the Revolution: Venezuelan Metafiction 2004-2014 (Liverpool University Press, 2019). She is a member of the transatlantic translation collective Colaboratio Ávila and runs the project venezuelanvoices.exeter.ac.uk. She is co-editor of the anthologies Crude Words (Ragpicker Press, 2016) and Escribir afuera (Kálathos, 2021).
