Claudia Nuñez de Ibieta

Claudia Nuñez de Ibieta is a bookseller, bookmaker, writer, and translator between English and Spanish. She has published translations of historiography with the Academy of American Franciscan History; her translations of short fiction and poetry have been published in Harpy Hybrid Review, Doublespeak Journal, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Carbon Copy, BOMB Magazine, POETRY Magazine, and others. A long-time member of Cardboard House Press’s Phoenix-based Cartonera Collective and founder of the twenty-year-old Spanish Literature book group that meets monthly in Tempe, Arizona—her home for over thirty years—she grew up in Los Angeles, California and Santiago, Chile, and now resides in the Pacific Northwest.
