Andrea Meador Smith

Andrea Meador Smith is a scholar of Latin American literature and film based in Virginia. Her work on South American film in particular has appeared in journals such as Hispania, Mise-en-scène, Ciberletras, and Studies in Spanish & Latin American Cinemas. She also has written book chapters published by academic presses in the US, UK, Peru, and Argentina. An ardent fan of Women in Translation Month and women writers from around the world, she currently is pursuing the art of literary translation from Spanish to English.
