Rodrigo Hasbún

Rodrigo Hasbún was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia in 1981. He has published the short story collections Cinco, Los días más felices, and Cuatro, the compilation of articles and essays Las palabras, and the novels El lugar del cuerpo, Los afectos, and Los años invisibles. He was awarded the Premio Unión Latina a la Novísima Narrativa Breve Hispanoamericana and he formed part of the Bogotá39, as well as the first selection of the “Best of Young Spanish-Language Novelists” selected by Granta. Two of his texts have been adapted into films with screenplays he co-authored, and his work has been translated into ten languages.
