Ricardo Sumalavia

Ricardo Sumalavia (Lima, 1968) earned his doctorate in Letters from the Universidad de Burdeos. He is Director of the Center for Oriental Studies and professor of oriental literatures at the PUCP. He is the author of the books of short stories Habitaciones (1993) and Retratos familiares (2001), the books of flash prose Enciclopedia mínima (2004) and Enciclopedia plástica (2016), and the novels Que la tierra te sea leve (2008), Mientras huya el cuerpo (2012), No somos nosotros (2017), Historia de un brazo (2019), and Croac y el nuevo fin del mundo (2022).
