Lucía Ortega Toledo

Lucía Ortega Toledo (Mexico City, 1980) has her B.A.in Communication Studies and her Masters and Doctorate in Literature from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She has published poetry and essays in Adspiro, Opción, Destiempos, Castálida, etc. and has collaborated on various academic books. For five years she has lived in the U.S. where she is working on screenplays and a poetry book and has worked as a translator and teacher of Spanish. Lucía translated her interview with Jimmy Santiago Baca into Spanish as well as Baca's newest book of poetry. She will also translate Baca's upcoming novel.
