Laura Cracco

Laura Cracco (Barquisimeto, Venezuela, 1959) is a writer, traveler, and classical philologist. She is the author of various books of poetry, short stories, and novels. She currently lives in Madrid. Her books include Mustia Memoria (Premio Municipal de Poesía de Mérida, Mérida, 1984), Diario de una Momia (Maracaibo, 1989), Safari Club (Monte Ávila, Caracas, 1993), Lenguas Viperinas, Bocas Chanel (Ediciones Torremozas, Madrid, 2009), El ojo del mandril (Colección Actual, 2014, Venezuela), África íntima (Kalathos, Madrid, 2017), and Exiliada, (now in print from Bartleby, Madrid, 2022).
