Joaquín Castillo

Joaquín Castillo earned his doctorate in literature at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is an assistant professor at the Instituto de Literatura of the Universidad de los Andes (Chile) and editor of the journal Punto y coma of the Instituto de Estudios de la Sociedad (IES). His research focuses on the intellectual and critical networks of the Latin American Boom. He is a literary critic for El País Chile.
