Guillermo Ruiz Plaza

Guillermo Ruiz Plaza was born in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1982. At the University of Toulouse he earned a degree in Hispanic Philology and a Master’s degree in Hispanic American Literature. He is the author of the books of short stories El fuego y la fábula (2010), La última pieza del puzzle (2013), Sombras de verano (2016), Cosas que se pierden (2016), and Los claveles de Tolstoi (2021), among others. He was twice awarded the Premio Nacional de Literatura Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and in 2016 he received the Premio Nacional de Cuento Adela Zamudio.
