Corina Maruzza & Jairo Rojas Rojas

Corina Maruzza (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1979) earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has published the poetry books Vértebras del mar (2024) and Mar de Interama (2020). She was included in the anthologies Martes Verde (2018) and Necesidad y Urgencia: Antología poética por decreto (2016). She has published the chapbooks Desde la proa (2016), Galope sobre la vértebra del mar (2015), and Oráculo de Orión (2015). Some of her poems have been published in the magazines Vallejo & Co. and Poesía, among others, and on the webpages Transtierros, Bitácora del Párvulo, La máquina de pensar, Pájarxs locxs, and Mis poetas contemporáneos.
Jairo Rojas Rojas (Mérida, Venezuela, 1980) earned his undergraduate degree in art history. He has published the poetry books Parte del relámpago (2021), Geometría de la grieta (2020), Pasear lunático (2018), Los plegamientos del agua (2014), La O azul (2014), and La rendija de la puerta (2013). He has received, among others awards, the tenth edition of the Premio de Poesía Fernando Paz Castillo (2014) and the nineteenth Bienal Literaria José Antonio Ramos Sucre (2013). His work has been included in the anthologies Nos siguen pegando abajo: Brevísima Antología Arbitraria Colombia-Venezuela (2020), Nubes: Poesía Hispanomericana (2019), El puente es la palabra: Antología de poetas venezolanos en la diáspora (2019), Uruguachas: Poética en Uruguay (2018), #Nodos (2017), and Del caos a la intensidad: Vigencia del poema en prosa en Sudamérica (2016).
