Boris Pasternak

Boris Pasternak was a Russian poet, novelist, translator, and composer. He translated work by Shakespeare, Calderón de la Barca, Schiller, and Goethe, and wrote the novel Doctor Zhivago (1957). He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1958.

Todd Fuller is a poet and curator of the Western History Collections and William Welch Professor at the University of Oklahoma.

Nicolas Pasternak Slater has translated work by Anton Chekhov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Mikhail Lermontov, Teffi, and, most recently, a new edition of Doctor Zhivago published by the Folio Society.
