Ana Elisa Ribeiro

Ana Elisa Ribeiro (b.1975) was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. She is a prolific writer and poet who has been writing since the late nineties. She’s been nominated for and won prestigious literary awards such as the Jabuti 2022. Her collection of essays Como nasce uma editora is being translated in Argentina and Mexico. She has published in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French anthologies. She has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and is a professor at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG).
