Cecilia Mariel Moré is a literary and audiovisual translator who graduated from the Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas “Juan Ramón Fernández” (2024, Buenos Aires, Argentina). She has been working as a freelance translator since 2022 and volunteering for nonprofit projects—not just as a translator, but also as an editor and a writer herself—since 2021. She has also been teaching English as a second language for seven years now. For her graduation project, she translated a piece of nonfiction writing and a short story by the abolitionist author Harriet Beecher Stowe (1811-1896). At the moment, Cecilia is venturing into copywriting for social media and plans to pursue further studies on poetry translation.
