Kymm Coveney was born in Boston and has lived in Spain since the 1982 World Cup. A freelance writer and translator, she was recently awarded Honorable Mention in the New England Poetry Club's Diana Der-Hovanessian Prize for her translation of another poem from Ojeda's collection Historia de la leche (Candaya Editorial, 2020).
