Syrine Hout

Syrine Hout is chair of the Department of English at American University of Beirut, where she is a professor of English and comparative literature. She is working on a monograph on multilingualism in anglophone Lebanese fiction. Previously, she has published essays on the post-1995 Lebanese exilic novel and Rabih Alameddine in World Literature Today.
