Ricardo Silva-Santisteban

Ricardo Silva-Santisteban was born in Lima, Peru in 1941. He holds a doctorate in literature and is currently a full professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He is a member of the Peruvian Academy of Language and was its President from 2014 to 2017. Silva-Santisteban was awarded the honor of Knight of the French Order of Arts and Letters. His complete works of poetry are collected in Terra incognita (Poemas 1965-2015), the fourth edition of which was published by Alastor Editores in Lima in 2016.
