Diego Recoba

Diego Recoba (Montevideo, 1981) is a writer, journalist, and editor. He was co-founder and editor of La Propia Cartonera until 2019. He has published the novels Locas pasiones (2019), Sobredosis (2020), El oso (2021), and El cielo visible (2023). Along with Agustín Fernández, he is coauthor of the book of chronicles Hasta Borinquen: Medio siglo de la decana (2015). His short stories have appeared in anthologies in Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, France, and Germany. His work has been published in outlets including Brecha, Lento, La Diaria, El País, La Pupila, Cinéfilo (Argentina), and Zona de Obras (Spain), among others.
