Alejandro Gómez Monzón

Alejandro Gómez Monzón (1985) is an Argentine poet and essayist. His book-length essay La flecha ya está en el aire: El cancionero y la literatura de Yupanqui was a finalist for the “Todos los tiempos el tiempo” Prize in 2021. His poetry collection Los silbidos que afilaron las piedras won first prize in the Adolfo Bioy Casares National Short Story and Poetry Contest in 2017. He contributed to the book of chronicles Ruta Salamone, on architect Francisco Salamone. His poetry collection Entre gallos y cuervos was published in 2010. He is a Professor of Letters and holds a Master’s in Argentine Literature. He has contributed to publications including Anfibia, Sudestada, and Lo imborrable.
