Marcelo Cohen

Marcelo Cohen is a writer and translator. He directed the collection “Shakespeare por escritores,” an edition of the complete works of Shakespeare in translation by Ibero-American writers. He has translated Nathaniel Hawthorne, T.S. Eliot, Fernando Pessoa, Philip Larkin, Raymond Roussel, and William Burroughs, among others. His works include the novels Donde yo no estaba, Balada, and Algo más, the short story collections El fin de lo mismo and La calle de los cines, and the essay collections ¡Realmente Fantástico!, Música Prosaica, and Un año sin primavera. Along with Graciela Speranza, he co-directed the journal of arts and letters Otra parte Semanal.
